Hey there ABACUSians!

I'm Yuming, a second year mathmo from Emma, and I'm the External Officer. I was born in Beijing but moved to Cambridge with my parents when I was two and a half. I've lived here ever since. (I loved the city so much I didn't even want to leave for uni! ^^ ) ABACUS is amazing. It's provided a place for me to meet lots of new and interesting people, share experiences of being a BBC and learn about Chinese culture.

As External Officer, I represent the society to external groups. This means I'm in charge of getting sponsorship for ABACUS from companies and discounts for all you members at the local restaurants. I'm also in charge of the website so let me know if you have any suggestions for it. :) I'm always happy to hear them! In my spare time, I'm a keen badminton player and play regularly in the ABACUS badminton sessions. Do come along if you want to play! It's free for all members.
