Downing Formal

  • Action: Email everyone about bookings
  • Price: £7 members / £11 non-members
  • Payment Method: At the bar and cheque to Lynn Kwo, Magdalene College
  • Place is not guaranteed unless payment is received
  • Afterwards: Soul Tree/Cindies/Revolution?
  • Cancellations can only be made 24 hours beforehand

General Committee

  • Provisional for the current term before accepting them as actual GenComm
  • Action: Take all 9 prospective members who have asked to be on GenComm

Garden Party

  • Venue: St John's asked to be reserved on Saturday 13th June
  • Caius - Booking has to be in by 11th May, confirmation will be made on 15th May
  • Food and Drink: Barbeque with Chinese food as backup, depending on the equipment available. Sean (slz22) has £80 left to spend for food and non-alcoholic drink
  • Ice as a problem? Buy from a shop, storing it?
  • Freeloading: Churchill garden games and gazebos are available courtesy of Leon, but tables?
  • Events: Booze hunt -> booze fun day? Mystery prize yet to be determined
  • Miss ABACUS - blind date, catwalk?
  • Speakers + microphone equipment needed - Harry (hh328) has a wireless one?
  • Bouncy castle booking, look around for various prices
  • Action: Annie (aph37) said she will call
  • Theme: Just the committee to dress up to encourage more people to come who do not want to dress up
  • Cost: £8 for members + £11 for non-members if booked now
  • Raise price to £11 and £14 after June 1st
